Cardinal Re Consulting, LLC is an insurance and reinsurance consulting and intermediary firm specializing in Individual and Group Employee Benefits for over the past 20 years.

Cardinal Re Consulting was founded by Jim Halloran in 2004 after working for a major reinsurance corporation for the prior fifteen years. As an Executive Account Manager, he was responsible for all aspects of program management, including: underwriting, pricing, claims management, accounting, relationship management and treaty development.  He understands what a carrier needs from their reinsurance partner when sharing risk on their overall portfolio of business.

During the past 20 years, Cardinal Re has also been assisting hundreds of individuals with their individual and family health insurance needs on Access Health CT and later in life when they enroll in Medicare.  Dozens of employer groups have also benefited from Cardinal Re’s assistance when developing a comprehensive and cost-effective set of health and ancillary benefits for their employees.

Jim earned a BA from Wesleyan University, CT and an MBA from New York University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. He is licensed with all of the proper regulatory agencies and maintains the required E&O insurance, in addition to being appointed with numerous quality insurance carriers in order to meet your needs. In addition to his strong educational background and practical work experience, Jim has the interpersonal skills necessary to provide superior client service and form lasting relationships with his clients.
